Our dream took us on an absolutely incredible journey towards acquiring and reviving the once-beloved Peaceful Valley Resort, now known as Papa Chubby's Lakeside Resort.
We embarked on a mission to breathe new life into this cherished destination, providing lifelong memories for our guests for generations to come.
In the heart of Lake of the Ozarks, Papa Chubby’s is perfectly tucked within the back of Crabtree Cove. Our 92 acre property is heavily wooded with mature oak, maple and walnut trees, offering privacy and serenity not just for our guests but for the area’s abundance of wildlife.
As a resort: Papa Chubby’s boasts 54 full hookup RV sites on remarkably flat and well-kept grassy lawns. 48 are just a stone’s throw from the lakefront, with an additional 6 sites right along the shoreline. In addition, we have 5 cabins fully furnished with absolutely everything you would want for a five-star stay.
The lakefront includes a beach area for relaxation and swimming, doubling as your launch point to lake activities. On the beach you will also find Papa Chubby’s restaurant & bar with great food, drinks, and live weekend entertainment that make it the place to be no matter the hour.
